How to install custom recovery using CM01 Custom Recovery zip file
Prerequisites:
• Samsung Intercept m910 (Other phones may follow same procedure ?)
• Rooted kernel or Root access
• Download the following two files
• Flash Image GUI Link>>> http://www.joeykrim.com/android/apps/FlashImageGUI.apk
• CM01.zip file Link>>>http://www.sdx-downloads.com/devs/inxane/intercept/CM01.zip
Procedure:
• Startup your phone
• Install Flash Image GUI
• On your computer extract the CM01.zip file Note: I used a program called “ 7zip”
• Extract the files inside of the CM01 folder >>
• You should see this folder >>
• Go into the CM01~ folder
• Go into the System folder
• Copy the recovery.rfs file
• Paste the recover.rfs file onto your SD card
• Place the SD card back into your phone
• Boot up your phone
• Open the Flash Image GUI app
• Select Recovery from the menu
• Browse to the directory to where the recovery.rfs file is located on your SD card
• Click on Flash
• Shut down your phone
• Hold down the three magic keys (Volume Down+Talk+End)
• You should now be in the new Custom Recovery screen
